Abuja - A House Committee on something has stated categorically that yesterday’s fire outbreak which gutted the Legal and Accounts Departments of the National Assembly Service Commission has NOTHING to do with the ongoing N44million bribery investigation involving former Chairman of the House Committee on capital market, Mr. Herman Hembe.
Patriotic citizens have been advised that any person or persons, DG or messenger, Newspaper or Satire website attempting to imply a correlation between the two events should be ignored, dismissed, shouted down or ordered to turn off their microphones.
Committee members further urged Nigerians to join them in the building of a new Nigeria in which suspicious fire outbreaks would not lead to unfounded suspicion and conspiracy theories.
