Greetings to Moslem readers at Eid!

emotanafricana.com

As millions of Moslems celebrate Id Il Fitri tomorrow, here’s wishing all, especially Moslem readers of this Blog everywhere, very happy celebrations.

We live in very difficult times but Nigerians must not continue to allow religious differences to divide as it has been doing, especially since the return to civil rule.  Politicians the world over are an opportunistic lot and the Nigerian variety are particularly hideous in fanning the embers of religious disunity.

Millions in the Southwest have families in both great religion of Christianity and Islam and they’ve often and always celebrated the great festivities together:  the Eids, Xmas, Easter.  We must say ‘no’ to political prostitutes who are willing to walk on their own family members to reach their political goals.

Barka de Sallah.
