Dick Cheney cancels family vacation trip to Nigeria

He wont be coming to Nigeria any time soon
Former US Vice-President, Dick Cheney, has cancelled a planned family vacation to Nigeria, but spokesperson for the ex Halliburton boss has said that this is not connected with the 16 count charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Early last week, an official of the EFCC boasted that the commission would soon show the world that Nigeria has balls. This ‘big mouthing’ now seems to have resulted in an unprecedented show of relevance by the EFCC and the Ministry of Justice.
A lot of Nigerians are currently in shock over the turn of events. Particularly unhappy is presidential aspirant, Atiku, who was looking forward to hosting the former US Vice-President and his family.
Atiku, it is reported, hoped that having such an important person stay in his home would do great things for him in the 2011 election – Such a deft move would surely have scared the pants off President Jonathan, the man to beat.
Dick Cheney’s lawyer has since described the charges filed against his client as nothing but a racist attack.
The cancellation of the Cheney family vacation was blamed on bad health. As the lawyer said: “My client aint afraid to fly anywhere. Go ask them in IRAQ.”
