Bishop Oyedepo under investigation for criminal conduct

21 Dec 2011

Happy go slappy

Lagos– Following release of a video in which the man of God, Bishop Oyedepo, is seen to slap a self confessed witch-for-Jesus across the face, observers have been waiting patiently to see what the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, will do about the matter.

Wazobia Report can now reveal that the leadership of CAN have in a letter to Bishop Oyedepo strongly admonished him for his behaviour on that day, and are currently investigating his conduct to determine if there was criminal negligence on his part.

According to CAN, the Bishop was 100% wrong to slap a person who confessed to being a witch; the right thing to do would have been to immediately kill her because it is written in scripture (Exodus 22:18) that: You shall not suffer a witch to live.

In light of this, Bishop Oyedepo has now been asked to explain why he thought an ordinary slap would suffice for an offence that clearly carries the death sentence.

U wont blame the said man of God. it is what he lacks that worked against him. If he had spiritual eyes he would have understood what spirit rules the girl, not just that, he would need not ask the girl questions the spirit of God would have ministered to him.He needs God more now than ever.

It's positive sign that the bishop slaps may not really have hits the person , but the witch. If it's was a traditional consultants might have use native brooms to causes body damages or sign, the pastor is holy at that duration, mercy be with him, if you out lines his duties , you out lines the witch. The involvement of legal proceedings for that assignments is unacceptable ,

We are living in a day and age when PAstors/Bishops carry more weight than Jesus Christ (Not in Heaven Though). The church members these days have exalted the ministers sooooooooo much that if Jesus passes by, He won't be recognised. However, if the Bishop or Pastor passes by church members will easily recognise them and even bow down and worship them. Strange...but true. Wonders...they say, will never end. Matthew 23:1-10 (message Bible) Now Jesus turned to address his disciples, along with the crowd that had gathered with them. "The religion scholars and Pharisees are competent teachers in God's Law. You won't go wrong in following their teachings on Moses. But be careful about following them. They talk a good line, but they don't live it. They don't take it into their hearts and live it out in their behavior. It's all spit-and-polish veneer. 4-7"Instead of giving you God's Law as food and drink by which you can banquet on God, they package it in bundles of rules, loading you down like pack animals. They seem to take pleasure in watching you stagger under these loads, and wouldn't think of lifting a finger to help. Their lives are perpetual fashion shows, embroidered prayer shawls one day and flowery prayers the next. They love to sit at the head table at church dinners, basking in the most prominent positions, preening in the radiance of public flattery, receiving honorary degrees, and getting called 'Doctor' and 'Reverend.' 8-10"Don't let people do that to you, put you on a pedestal like that. You all have a single Teacher, and you are all classmates. Don't set people up as experts over your life, letting them tell you what to do. Save that authority for God; let him tell you what to do. No one else should carry the title of 'Father'; you have only one Father, and he's in heaven. And don't let people maneuver you into taking charge of them. There is only one Life-Leader for you and them—Christ."

I doubt ur story. If it is true, let somebody tell me how many demonic people did Jesus Christ, his disciples & Apostles slapped. What prevented Moses from entering the promised land?
