GEJ tricks Nigerians into watching NTA News
15 Jan 2012

See as he do us April fool!
Abuja – Every Nigerian knows better than to watch the Nigerian Television Authority’s (NTA) network news at nine, but this was not the case on the evening of Sunday the 15th of January 2012.
Sensible Nigerians know that the NTA news can be harmful to one’s health because it’s nothing but B.S. fed out by the government of the day, and over exposure to B.S. can have serious negative impacts on a person’s life.
But the Nigerian president, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, who is widely thought to be rather very stupid, played a brilliant and successful trick on his people that got them to sit through the painful experience of watching the Network news.
Knowing that Nigerians are eager to hear from their president over the current fuel subsidy impasse that has gripped the nation, President Jonathan announced that he would be addressing the people on NTA.
So it was that millions of Nigerians at home and abroad tuned in to the government propaganda station and waited anxiously for their president to talk to them.
As of the time of filling this report, millions of tricked Nigerians have been watching the network News, waiting for GEJ to speak, and inadvertently submitting themselves to government sponsored advertisements supporting the removal of fuel subsidy.
“This man get sense o!” said Alhaji Jubril at a popular beer parlour in the Isale Eko area of Lagos as he watched NTA news with several other Nigerians waiting for their president to say something, anything.
