Libya set to receive first IMF loan in a few years
04 Oct 2011

Nigeria, the only African Nation to have recognized the National Transitional Council in Libya, has now sent emissaries to the new Libyan government.

The Nigerian government is particularly eager to assist Libya in developing democratic institutes and as such, has sent a delegation of Nigerian Senators to help the Libyans establish their own houses of legislation.

This kind gesture by the Nigerians has now led independent international observers to predict that Libya will in the near future apply for her first IMF loan.
