I brought her to Abuja but she's now misbehaving

Aunt Ngozi,

I have a girl staying with me inAbuja that I brought from one of the States. I give her a weekly budget to manage, not much, just to see if she can manage money, but she finishes the money in like 1 day on stupid stuff and always makes up new demands and hustles other guys for money instead of learning to make her own with my assistance. I provide accommodation, feeding and other assistance but I feel she's only interested in getting money and is always on the phone with other guys even when I am around and stays out till late when I am not, which is most of the time. What should I do with her?

My reply

Dear Lost in Abuja,

Wazaldat? What kind of rubbish is all that? You need to let her know who is boss now now! I mean, when you brought her to Abuja didn’t you properly define what is expected of a house girl?

You seem to be too kind sef, wetin concern you if she finishes her money in a day? Shebi it is her salary? Let her finish it now. But the only one that is alarming me is the hustling other men for money. Shoo? Is she doing house girl for them too on the side or are you talking of something else?

I beg, bros, don’t let house girl come and turn your house into ashawo connection o! Either set her straight on the role of house girl or send her packing. ‘nuf said.
